Get Ready for Success 2024

Aimhigher London’s annual SEND Transition conference

An opportunity for learners with disabilities or neurodivergence who are planning on going to university, to find out about the support you can receive – for FREE!

Join us for the day as we cover topics such as:

  • Disclosure – how sharing information about your disability can be beneficial to you.
  • Assistive technology – knowing what is available to enhance your higher education experience.
  • Support services from university – what is available to you and how to access them.

We will also be giving you – the learners, parents and staff, the opportunity to explore what getting ready for success means and exactly what is available for you to access.

This conference is for learners with:

  • Long term physical and mental health conditions.
  • Physical and sensory disabilities.
  • Neurodivergence eg dyslexia, ADHD, autism.

A survey of learners who attended the same event last year found that a third of them would now “aim higher than they were aiming before”, 80% could now see themselves “fitting in at university”, and all of them agreed that they “understood more about the benefits of sharing data about their disability”.
